Default College Football Playoffs - Your Pick'em

This is not about your nose.

    Alabama
    vs
    Washington

    Clempson
    vs
    Ohio St

Which two survive to the next level?

I am thinking Alabama and Ohio State. However, I am pulling for Clempson.

    Bama big
Osu in a close game. Defense for Osu gets. Pick 6 to win

I'm still holding out hope that the Wolverines can win it all based on percentages.

I would enjoy a blowout by Bama, but I cannot predict it. I am afraid it may be a close game. If our players' minds are not focused correctly, they will get blown out by Washington.

Does anyone else remember when the worthless old faggot told us Michigan was the best team in the country 35 times?

That's going to have to be one hell of an equation

Pretty sure they don't play a consolation game in this playoff

No blowout, hb... Alabama and Washington appear to be opposites in many ways, not the least of which is the fact that the Tide is fueled by their defense, while the Huskies rely primarily on an explosive offense.

Washington has the very type of passing attack that gives Alabama the most problems, fourth in the country offensively with 44.5 points scored per contest, but Bama boasts the No. 1 defense in the nation in terms of points allowed, total yardage allowed and rushing yardage allowed per game... Nick Saban's vaunted defense will be ready to put lots of pressure on quarterback Jake Browning, and the Bama ball hawks in the secondary will shut down wide receiver John Ross and a Huskies drive or two with interceptions...

The biggest key to Alabama's success figures to be time of possession, no turnovers, and limiting the effectiveness of Washington's high-octane offense...

Bama's offense will find scoring no more problematic than in previous games... Bama covers the 14-point spread and then some...

    Alabama: 41 ... Washington: 24

In another fearless forecast: Urban Meyer's Ohio State Buckeyes will find Dabo Swinney's Clemson Tigers more than a worthy opponent...

    Clemson: 38 ... Ohio State: 34

Heim's Fearless Finale Forecast: Clemson has an axe to grind with the Tide after losing to them in a close one last year, but they will find Alabama to be an even better team this year than last... Bama's game to lose.

    Alabama: 44 ... Clemson: 41

Lane Kiffin's play calling is Washington's best weapon.

    Yeah it was.

About time they realized Washington can't tackle him. Lane seemed intent on doing play action instead of a heavy dose of Scarborough.

I think Clemson will pull this out for the rematch.

Alabama covered the spread (14) but is was a lackluster offensive showing for the Tide, no doubt about it... But... The Huskies' "explosive offense" got throttled too... Both teams scored 17 points less than I expected... and those PENALTIES! ... Bama had what... 11 or 12 ??? ... NOT a typical Bama outing!

I should've listened to THIS guy... I would've adjusted my 'numbers' downward...

I can only hope Kiffen is holding the best plays for last! ... Clemson's scouts didn't see much, that's for sure!

Strong offense may win you a game but a strong defense will win a championship.

Especially in the current era where the rules are written to favor offenses and high scores.
