I was looking for the option where don has a mental breakdown after copy/pasting too much Democratic Underground stuff here over the next 8 years.

But will we be better off with Pence as POTUS? That is the real question.

I think he'll go the full four years and that's as far as he'll make it, either by choice or losing his reelection.

    I didn't see 48 months.

You're not getting rid of a President with his Party in charge of Congress.

But the way he's going, the Democrats will have tons of ammo to beat him if he tries to get reelected. Not to mention potentially taking the Senate.

P.S. But he's got lots of time to grow into the position. It's not like Obama took the job knowing what the fuck he was doing either. And Chump has Congress.

96 months. The fact is the Repubs could run a Lemur against the Dems in 4 years as they still won't have anyone worth a shit.

If Chump doesn't get it together, a taxidermist could stuff what's left of Swillery and stand her up on a stand, and she might have a chance!

I think there's a chance enough republicans will be shamed into going along with it if he continues with the egregious breaches and throws in a major scandal.

He'd be doing what he said he would if he's disrupting it a bit though.

P.S. It's not necessarily what he's doing that's the problem, it's the apparent amateurish way he's going about it. That twitter crap is hurting him more than he cares to know. And he needs to listen to some of the people he's hiring at least a little before he spouts.

If he takes healthcare away from 20 million and starts a couple of trade wars, the voters affected are going to notice, however ill informed they try to be. There are signs he's starting to settle down though, he bent over and grabbed his ankles for China already and the repealing obamacare deadline has been totally ignored. Thing is, a segment on cable tv could goad him into reversing course at any time.

He actually appears to be a moderating voice on obamacare reform right now. He sounds like he wants a replacement ready before anything else happens. Not so much Congress.

HRC was the most disliked dem candidate ever and got 3 million more votes than Trump. "Worth a shit" is a relative term.

It's congress that has backed off, they voted to repeal it dozens of times when they knew it wouldn't happen, now there's nothing to stop them it's gone awful quiet. Ryan's not a fool, he's the one holding it back while a magical right wing replacement can be sought. Problem is, there isn't one.

I've said before, they'll tinker with it a bit, and change the name to Trumpcare.

P.S. Right now a lot of them are hearing from constituents who like a lot of it. And Lifetime Congresscritters want to keep their cushy jobs with REAL health benefits!

And the real problem isn't really avoiding screwing people over, it's the fact that the folks that REALLY matter to them (i.e. the companies funding their campaigns) also don't want obamacare completely thrown out.

They're in a bit of a sticky wicket, they're going to get caught between the big money interests and the actual voters. Big money can persuade people to vote against their interests in the abstract, it gets trickier when reality bites.

The Dems didn't have Obama in 04 and the Republicans didn't have Trump in 12, things will change quite a bit by 20.
